CDS’s Supply Chain Management organization coordinates all aspects of the highly complex supply chain by utilizing the latest technology and techniques to ensure reliable performance, high quality and competitive pricing from our supply base. This allows CDS to provide its customers with superior products in a timely manner, at competitive prices.

• Communication
  Supply Chain Web Site - communicates forecasts, part status, non-conforming part data and performance metrics.
  
  E-mail, transmits daily schedules to outside processing suppliers and ensures timely delivery of product.
  
• Supplier Development
  Supplier surveys are conducted and utilized to assist the supplier in improving quality and performance.
  
  Partnering agreements allow CDS to work exclusively with suppliers to capitalize on their core competencies.
  
• Supplier Evaluation
  Supplier performance is reviewed weekly. Suppliers are grouped by commodity and the performance of the commodity supply base is also tracked Corrective action is identified as needed to improve performance.
  
  Supplier scorecards are reviewed with each supplier and are available on the Supply Chain Web Site.
  
  Supplier follow up surveys are conducted on a routine basis.
